In a health care landscape defined by complexity and constant change, trust is earned through consistency — by delivering results, honoring commitments and showing up as a reliable partner when it matters most. Prime Therapeutics (Prime) has built its reputation on that foundation, pairing accountability with a sharp focus on excellence.

These efforts were recently recognized by the Pharmaceutical Strategies Group (PSG), a leading independent pharmacy benefit consulting and technology company, through the organization’s All-Star Awards.

Recognition is based on PSG’s direct experience working alongside industry partners. This year’s nominations span implementations, consultant relations, government programs and more.

Nine Prime employees were named award recipients at the 2025 Industry Partners Summit, marking a record for the most awards for a single pharmacy benefit manager (PBM) in one year. Recipients include:

  • Scott Anderson, business integration consultant
  • Megan Hanley, associate vice president, network relations
  • Brendt Jones, director, enterprise integrations
  • Sean Lukanen, senior quality assurance analyst
  • Jon Magness, vice president, market strategy and growth
  • Matthew Mertel, chief operating officer
  • Brian Murphy, vice president, consultant relations
  • Matthew Spencer, senior client audit specialist
  • Jennifer Taylor, vice president, implementations

“To have this level of recognition across multiple teams speaks to how Prime operates as a company, especially when the stakes are high,” said Mike Edwards, president, markets. “These awards highlight consumer‑centricity in action — listening to feedback, being flexible with solutions and doing the work required to build trust, even when it’s hard. That same focus reflects the strong work happening across Prime as a whole and our intent on continuing to enhance the client and member experience.

“When recognition comes from an industry leader like PSG, it validates how our teams are showing up where and when it matters most.”

Across the nominations, PSG cited consistent behaviors and outcomes, including examples where teams “listen carefully, adapt easily and thoughtfully challenge ideas to find the best solutions for clients,” and moments where strong execution and collaboration “didn’t just help us stay on track — it elevated the entire project.”
