What is the ADAP Center of Excellence?

We created the Prime ADAP Center of Excellence to provide state ADAP programs across the country with a best-in-class operating paradigm to help improve outcomes and prevent HIV. Prime helps states maximize public health and safety by eliminating, preventing and controlling disease, disability and death caused by HIV/AIDS. We do so by providing access to HIV medications to low-income, uninsured and underinsured people.

Who's eligible

ADAP is a state- and territory-administered program that provides FDA-approved medications to people with low incomes who are living with HIV and who have limited or no health coverage from private insurance, Medicaid or Medicare. We currently support ADAPs in California, Connecticut, Florida, Idaho, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Hampshire, and Pennsylvania.
