Prime/MRx releases its first corporate social responsibility report

New report, an evolution of previous DEI reports, aims to demonstrate transparency and accountability for company’s corporate social responsibility journey

Announcing our 2023 Corporate Social Responsibility reportPrime Therapeutics/Magellan Rx Management (Prime/MRx) recently released its first-ever corporate social responsibility (CSR) report, which provides a candid look into its diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) efforts, various company initiatives and culture of giving back.  

“We have a responsibility to not only our employees but also the people we serve outside of our organization — our customers, partners, members and the communities where we live and work,” wrote Zabrina Watkins, diversity, equity and inclusion director, in her opening statement in the report. “That is why this marks our first annual corporate social responsibility report, an evolution of our previous DEI transparency reports. Sharing this report is a key step in our efforts to demonstrate transparency and remain accountable as we continue on our journey.”

The report begins with an outline of Prime/MRx’s values – including its company’s purpose, DEI mission and vision, radical welcome-ness philosophy and culture commitments. Next, the report goes into detail on how Prime/MRx supports our employees. 

This section of the report also gives a transparent look at Prime/MRx’s employee and leadership makeup — including representation of race, ethnicity, gender identities and additional self-identifications. The section concludes by highlighting the company’s DEI milestones, employee resource groups and education and learning strategy. 

The report closes with an overview of how Prime/MRx connects with its community, both in its work and through philanthropic giving. Highlights include: 

  • Ways Prime/MRx supports its members and its focus on health equity, social determinants of health and inclusive language 
  • Community giving efforts through its PrimeCares employee giving program and Prime Together Foundation 

“This year, we felt it was important to dive deeper into our corporate social responsibility efforts and share how we do our work and give back to the community,” said Erin Feigal, senior vice president and chief human resources officer for Prime/MRx. “We are proud that we’ve continued to increase the diversity of our voices each year since we published our first transparency report in 2022. DEI and corporate responsibility are ongoing journeys, so we look forward to continuing to share our progress over time.”
