Tizgel K. S. High, JD

As chief compliance officer for Prime Therapeutics, Tizgel High leads all compliance functions for the enterprise. An innovative and collaborative leader with more than 20 years of experience in health law and compliance, she is focused on enhancing our reputation as a trusted, flexible and compliant partner as we create a next-generation pharmacy solutions company.  

Prior to joining Prime in September 2023, High spent 10 years with Lifepoint Health, an integrated health system with operations in 30 states. She was named deputy chief compliance officer in March 2020 and added the title chief privacy officer the following year. In March 2022, High was elevated to chief compliance officer and privacy officer. In this role, she organized the consolidated department to focus on prevention, detection and correction to meet compliance effectiveness expectations. Working cross-functionally, High’s team embedded compliance into enterprise operations across 30 states and 90 markets. Prior to Lifepoint, High was operations counsel for Community Health Systems in Franklin, TN. She started her career in 2004 as a health care attorney in group practice.  

High earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Princeton University in Princeton, New Jersey, and her Juris Doctor from the University of Georgia School of Law in Athens, Georgia. She serves on the American Health Law Association board of directors and is active in several Tennessee-based community organizations.
