Meredith Delk, PhD, MSW

Meredith Delk serves as the senior vice president and general manager, state government solutions, at Magellan Rx, a Prime Therapeutics company. In this role, Delk is responsible for managing a business operations team serving 28 states and the District of Columbia. This includes the largest Medicaid fee-for-service (FFS) point-of-sale program and AIDS drug assistance program (ADAP) in the country, pharmacy preferred drug list (PDL) management and specialty pharmacy benefit management (PBM).    

Prior to joining Magellan Rx, Delk served as vice president of state affairs at WellPoint. She led state government relations in the states in which WellPoint had a government contract and the business development team in government relations. Prior to that, she served as a vice president and senior vice president on the government relations team for Amerigroup.  

Delk earned a bachelor’s degree and a Doctorate of Counselor Education from the University of Florida. She also holds a master’s degree in social work from the University of Central Florida.
