Linda Smith

As senior vice president, enterprise initiatives and CEO chief of staff for Prime Therapeutics, Linda Smith has broad responsibility for ensuring the organization is focused on its highest priorities, promoting cross-functional alignment, and advancing enterprise execution, client-centricity and culture.  

An experienced executive, Smith was serving as chief service officer and chief of staff with Magellan Rx Management when Prime and Magellan Rx united in December 2022. Before moving to Magellan Rx in 2016, Smith held several executive roles at NIA, Magellan Health’s specialty health care business unit, including senior vice president, chief of staff, as well as leading client implementation, marketing, network development and provider relations. 

Prior to joining Magellan Health in 2008, Smith was a management consultant for Lumenos, focused on scalability and process improvement for one of the nation’s first consumer-driven health care plans. She also served as vice president of operations and Mid-Atlantic regional manager for Value Behavioral Health.  

Smith was recognized as a 2021 Luminary by the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association (HBA). She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Princeton University in Princeton, New Jersey.
