Newsweek names Prime/MRx to its 2024 America’s Greatest Workplaces for Diversity list

Honor demonstrates Prime/MRx’s impact and commitment to delivering diverse and inclusive work environment

Prime Therapeutics/Magellan Rx (Prime/MRx) was recently recognized as one of America’s Greatest Workplaces for Diversity by Newsweek, receiving the top score of five stars.

Prime/MRx understands a diverse workforce contributes significantly to organizational success by bringing creativity and innovation that originate from varied backgrounds, experiences and perspectives. Prime/MRx nurtures an inclusive culture to attract and retain top talent in a market where job seekers prioritize diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) initiatives.

Newsweek partnered with Plant-A Insights group, a market data research firm, to compile a list of the top large and mid-size companies from 78 different industries to identify organizations that are genuinely dedicated to supporting a diverse workforce. The process included an analysis of publicly available data, interviews with human resources professionals and an anonymous survey of over 220,000 individuals.

Over the past few years, Prime/MRx has taken steps to become a more diverse and inclusive workplace. Among its initiatives and accomplishments are:

  • Publishing its second annual DEI Transparency Report
  • Scoring 100% on the Disability Equality Index, a benchmark of disability workplace inclusion
  • Scoring 100% on the Corporate Equality Index, an assessment of LGBTQ+ workplace equality
  • Recognition as a Yellow Ribbon company, which signifies its commitment to honoring and supporting active-duty military, veterans and their families
  • Instituting key DEI building blocks including its Diversity and Inclusion Council and seven employee resource groups
  • Expanding DEI-related learning/training experiences for employees

Survey respondents shared insights into corporate culture, working environments and other aspects of both their own companies and others they were familiar with, resulting in over 1.5 million company reviews.
