Every year on April 22, Earth Day celebrates a global commitment to protecting the planet. This year, for the theme “Our Power, Our Planet,” Prime Therapeutics (Prime) is proud to share its recent sustainability efforts, led by the real estate and facilities team, through the recent remodel of Prime’s corporate headquarters, Prime Landing.  

This past summer, Prime completed the remodel of Prime Landing in Eagan, Minnesota. This project realigned the company’s in-person workspace to fit Prime’s Hub and Home^® approach and remote-first mindset, positioning the space to provide a new level of hospitality for intentional collaboration, meaningful team building and impactful events. With this remodel came an emphasis on sustainability and choosing eco-friendly options.  
 

“We are committed to creating a safe, healthy and sustainability work environment for everyone who utilizes our space,” said Renee Fine, director of real estate workplace. “The team was able to achieve that goal by exploring different design philosophies, incorporating sustainable best practices and being thoughtful about design standards.” 

Efforts to reduce, reuse, recycle 

• Subleased a portion of the building to reduce underutilized space and reduce energy consumption.
• Modified utility usage to save energy and costs.
• Coordinated with the general contractor during demolition to recycle any items to the appropriate facility.
