Prime Therapeutics (Prime) is helping to prepare the next generation of managed care pharmacy leaders through its industry-leading postgraduate Year-1 (PGY1) residency program, accredited by the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP). The program gives early-career pharmacists hands-on experience connecting medical and pharmacy benefits to support better outcomes for patients and health plans. Residents also build core managed care skills in utilization management, clinical operations, pricing and formulary development.
