This calculator tool is provided as a resource to help health plans and large employers estimate the drug costs to treat a particular disease after twelve months use.

Some calculators use only one drug to estimate costs, while other calculators may have multiple or combination treatments that make up the estimate. Please see footnotes on each calculator for detailed information.

If a drug is awaiting approval from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the price will be unknown. Estimated treatment costs are based on the prevalence of individuals diagnosed with the disease or condition who are projected to need drug therapy with the new drug and an estimated wholesale acquisition cost based on other drug approvals. See list below for information on each calculator currently available:

These estimates are based on Prime's commercially insured book of business of 15 million lives (unless otherwise noted in the disclaimers), and are intended for commercial population comparison. Generally, Medicaid or Medicare population estimates are not included. However, Medicaid and Medicare estimates are available for PBC & NASH.
