Senior Vice President, Chief Information and Technology Officer
As senior vice president, chief information and technology officer at Prime Therapeutics, Urvi Randhar is accountable for the strategic direction, and operational performance of Prime’s IT systems and infrastructure, including operations, architecture, security, application development and support. She is focused on bringing in new and differentiating technology solutions. With a proven track record of developing, implementing and managing clinical products and solutions, Randhar plays a critical role in executing Prime’s strategic partnerships and delivering member- and provider-centered health care solutions.
Randhar brings to Prime an entrepreneurial spirit and more than 20 years of experience as a health care technology leader. She began her career as a senior software architect for a small electronic health records company, where she held several positions with increasing responsibility. When the company was purchased by Health Management Systems and rebranded as MEDHOST, Randhar was named vice president, enterprise clinical products. After 18 years at MEDHOST, she left to become vice president, product and strategy, at MedSolis, a digital health startup focused on creating collaborative platforms for patient management. Most recently, Randhar served as vice president, digital products at Healogics, a national wound care service company with more than 600 locations.
Randhar earned her bachelor’s degree in computer science from Shri Govindram Seksaria Institute of Technology & Science in Indore, India. The Dallas Business Journal named Randhar one of the Top 25 Women in Tech in 2014 and listed her among the Who’s Who in Healthcare in 2015.
