REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP) SUPPORT


Prime Therapeutics is happy to provide RFP support to BCBSND. Whether you need assistance with an entire pharmacy questionnaire, or product information to include in your sales and marketing materials, we are available to assist you to ensure your pharmacy program is always represented accurately and positively.

RFP SUPPORT PROCESS

  1. When BCBSND receives an RFP that includes pharmacy management, the RFP should be forwarded to your Prime Therapeutics Client Account Director within 24 hours of receipt. Please include the following information with each request:


    • The entire pharmacy section of the RFP
    • An indication on which questions need responses
    • A brief synopsis of the prospect/client and key selling points


  2. We desire at least one full week for completion of questions. Two to three weeks is requested for larger questionnaires (approx. 50 questions or more).


  3. The Client Account Director will forward the RFP to the Prime Therapeutics proposal department for completion. The Prime Therapeutics Client Account Director and Proposal Specialist will work together with BCBSND to ensure key strategic and customized messages are included in the proposal.


  4. Based on the volume and priority level of the RFP, we may schedule a combined strategy session with both Prime Therapeutics and BCBSND staff.

  5. The proposal responses will be sent electronically to the BCBSND contact according to a predetermined deadline, allowing BCBSND time for final production of the proposal.
