Among the file types offered are Adobe Acrobat/Portable Document Format (PDF), and Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Viewing these documents requires that you have the appropriate viewer program installed on your system.

Acrobat Reader is available for free download from Adobe. We recommend Acrobat Reader version 4 or higher for viewing documents from our site. If you have the full version of Adobe Acrobat, you do not need to install Acrobat Reader separately.
Microsoft provides free downloads of read-only viewers for Microsoft Office document formats. If you have Microsoft Office installed on your system, you should not need to install these viewer programs.
